Yay! So good to be back in touch again! We’ve been in Kosi Bay for the past two weeks doing full days of school presentations. So far we have visited 26 schools here- both primary and secondary. We will be here for one more week. If you just want to check in, you can know our team is healthy, safe, and doing great. If you want ridiculous Renee-writes-about-everything detail, scroll down to Tuesday, March 3 and read on. Hope all is well with you!!
PS. Do a load of laundry, and eat a chocolate chip cookie for me. Oh and maybe a tall skinny vanilla latte. Awesome, thanks! ;)

Yeah - it is great to hear from you again. Ran into your family last night at Logan's and had to get a quick Renee update- You make us so proud!
ReplyDeleteI love reading yor posts. This week I'm following Laurie's group's blog from Ghana. She's loving it!
ReplyDeleteRenee, I've been trying to catch up on your blogs and i must say that I can literally hear you talking when I read your writings. I think I've laughed through almost every post because I feel like you're right here telling me and can hear the tones and the fluctuation in your voice. I can totally tell God has opened your eyes to see His heart for the world and that, like you said, its so much bigger than we can even fathom. I'm so happy to here about all the opportunities to share God's Word that you are being blessed with. This is so awesome...you're awesome! miss you girl!
ReplyDeletemuch love,
Mel
hmm, well I don't know where we stand on that tall skinny vanilla latte, but I can tell you I will have a Java Chip Frappacino, so that sort of combines the coffee and chocolate chip cookie ... sort of. haha ... I am sure you will appreciate Starbucks even more when you get back, huh? :o) But more seriously, it is exciting that you can experience a whole other culture and be opened up to what other people are facing. I am sure it is so enlightening and will truly give you a greater appreciation of how blessed we all really are!
